I'm going over some pictures I've taken in the past and I have decided to post a few of them...... Some of them may have been posted before (in the monthly photo contests)...So with no particular explanation or order....

NIce pictures and not enough have made it to the competitions.

I'm not sure which one I liked most. All have a little neat tweak about them and I do have one question about the fern looking leaves in the ghost photo. They look fake - are they?

No they were real.....part of our annual summer spice/fine herbs garden creation.

Very good, Nick. I think I like rescuing the princess best. Father Christmas warming his hands by the fire (is he about to set off to deliver the presents? surely a family wouldn't leave the fire burning on Christmas Eve?) is a different take on him, and the use of sepia for the pirates nicely captures old times.

Thanks for sharing. I like your photos Nick. Would like to see some more appearing in the monthly photo competition.
It is a good idea to repost old photos. Too many have been lost and forgotten. It would be nice to have a gallery but I guess that requires massive time and labour.
Cheers

Thanks, Nick. The polar bears with the coke is my favourite.

Nope...I saw them for a very short period of time last year and in one chain of store only. Haven't seen them since.

Another great group of photos and great set-ups with those mugs.

Nostalgia makes me like the polar bears one best, but I like the others as well.

I like the one of you and coke - great back drop.

I've been trying to find time to learn/use PhotoShp Elements 9. I managed to experiment a little tonight and here is the result. A picture of Santa just before he leaves to work tweaked to look like an old picture.

Nice - does look old, and oddly very romantic for a Christmas picture

I wanted to do a "Find Mad Nick in the crowd" picture for July's monthly comp but the picture wasn't as good as I was hoping for. So, I used it to learn some more about Photo Shop functions and came up this:

It looks great Nick! I don't know what image you had in your head, but it works for me as a Playmo version of 'Where's Wally?'. It's also a lot more interesting for Playmo collectors who want to spot all the klickies you've used.

Hope you're going to do a series of pictures. Also a great way of using all the Playmo themes.

Thanks Nick. After I took the pictures I found that they were not exactly what I was looking for. I think it had something to do with the general set up and the floor/ground color. I did it on the wooden dining table. I would have prefered a lighter floor/ground color.

If interested you can see the pictures I have taken of the Schleich Pegasus here (http://www.laughinggiraffe.com/showthread.php?p=61918#post61918)
