View Full Version : Camponotus japonicus-Epoch

5th April 2010, 07:17 PM
Received some Japanese carpenter ants (Camponotus japonicus) by Epoch. Previously, my only experience with Epoch have been a few crustaceans. These are my first Epoch insects.

One larger one is a queen; the other three are workers. One is tending to a larva and the other two are carrying various 'prey' (a mantid head and a lady beetle wing).

They are roughly 2.5-3.0 cm in length.

It's sad Epoch's information tags are all written in corean. I do have an Epoch ancient japanese sculpture replica with its information tag. Unfortunately, I don't understand a word it says because it's in corean. So, I own a great figure... of which I don't know the identity.:frown:
