A new shopping mall has opened in Kiev recently and in one of its halls there is a very nice diorama of our planet on the floor. It’s very close to the one I have always been dreaming to make myself – with mountains and rivers, forests and deserts, inhabited with Schleich animals. (Although my dream diorama would not contain any people figures and human buildings).
I’ve taken some photos - think you’ll like it too.

General view of the Northern part of the diorama:

This is the view from Russia thru Ukraine and Turkey down to Northern Africa. Note two Schleich ibex on Caucasus, gem stones on the Ural Mountains and tiny wine bottles where Georgia should be:

By the way, I wonder if Georgia is renowned for its wine in the countries where you live? Cause here Georgia is really regarded as a “wine state”.

Western Europe, with two Schleich swans in Denmark:

In the heart of the Africa (Schleich animals are mixed up with various souvenir figurines):

Africa at the line of sight (I put my camera down on the Antarctica and used self-timer to take this photo – to avoid flash):

Close-up of hand-made palms:

Australia, with Schleich kangaroos and an unknown crocodile. Note the boomerang sticking out of sand:

Eastern China:

South America. No Schleich is noticed here, but a football player in Brazil is fun:

It is impressive indeed!
But i wonder why have the designers mixed up Schleich animals with all those huge souvenir figurines? Why not use only Schleich?
Schliech's baobab would also look good in Africa.

Maybe should send the designer for Schleich, Safari Ltd or Procon Collecta introduction courses first. Before they built this landscape.

Kiryuha, Thanks for the pictures and even though whoever made it used so many different things it looks as though they had fun doing it.

I like the fact that they used all kinds of objects - it made me wonder where they got them from or maybe they asked the different stores in the mall if they saw something in it that they could use. That way most stores would be represented in the diorama.

Very interesting diorama. The crocodile in Australia is misplaced, it's a Gavial and should be in India

Always to see any diorama, even when they used several brands of animals, and not all in the right place maybe as Tim said, but that has to do with general knowledge of animals, which most people lack...
Great display anyway, and nice to visit from time to time.
I would suggest Schleich for all animals too to this people.

Sure, if it's a gavial - it is misplaced. But with those no-name animal figures we can't be sure in anything...
